Apache ActiveMQ is an open source Java message broker implementing JMS 1.1. Access is also supported via their own OpenWire format as well as via REST, Stomp, XMPP and AMQP. Clients are available in all major languages (C, Python, Ruby), most of them communicating via Stomp or OpenWire.- http://activemq.codehaus.org/
