Vice-Admiral John M. PoindexterSecurity Advisor to the president of the US (Ronald Reagan, Vice Pres. George Bush sen.) during the 1980s. Primarily head behind the "Iran/contra" affair and in subsequent consequences dismissed from his duty.
Afterwards worked at Syntek on [create Genoa I].
During February 2002 he was appointed by president George Bush jun. as the director of the newly formed [create DARPA] Information Awareness Office (IAO). As such he overseas the implementation of the Total Information Awareness System which builds upon a base provided by Genoa I.
