Continuations
by earl, 7947 days ago
"A continuation is a function passed as a parameter to every semantic function. The semantic function determines its value as usual and then calls (directly or indirectly) the continuation with its value as a parameter." (not the very best definition as it does not really help you understand what exceptions are. it helps you better understand them once you basically know what they are about or how they work.) - http://www.eleves.ens.fr:8080/home/madore/computers/callcc.html - http://www.cs.indiana.edu/~dfried/appcont.pdf See also: Coroutines, [create Exceptions] |
