Chairman of the ASF. Coined the term REST in his PhD dissertation at UC Irvine.Was in the IETF working groups on URI, HTTP, WebDAV and [create HTML]. Primary architect of HTTP/1.1, co-architect (besides Tim Berners-Lee and [create Henrik Frystyk]) of HTTP/1.0.
Involved in the creation of Apache (httpd), primary author of libwww-perl (for perl4).
