the term "antville" is sometimes used to refer two things:
antville is simply a weblog tool with support for multiple weblogs. antville.org obviously uses the software antville to provide the hosting service - just as twoday.net does. basically, by using antville (the software), anybody can install a public or private weblog hosting service.
antville is a web application built using the helma object publisher (hop).
