after having studied David Ness' last piece for nearly the whole day, i dare to be so presumptuous to state that wikis may be the most interesting thing for small (5-10) sized project groups out there today.
i have to bow down before david ness - his piece is well-worth a read, full of well-reasoned statements with this sort of academic caution i really miss in the far too often too pretentious and sloppy written userland pieces.
i'll have to do some reasoning and reflection myself before writing a reply.
if anybody is amazed by the high unknown active user count up on esa these days - google is on it's strive for knowledge ;)

Interessant ist ja auch, dass nakedobjekts (via chris) das gleiche problem mit dem GUI zu loesen versucht und sozusagen visual proxies automatisch erzeugt. ich bastle gerade an einem sehr netten GUI fuer HTML in Ruby. Mal sehen wie man das Problem aus meiner Sicht optimal loesen kann.
Oh, und das InstantWeb (?) von WebObjekts versucht ja auch den nakedobjekts weg zu gehen.

ein wiki ist zwar nicht ganz der Weissheit letzter Schluss, cool sind sie aber trotzdem. - nur ob das _das_ collaboration tool ist weiss ich nicht so sicher.
eines ist jedoch klar: unstrukturiertes Instant Messaging ist fuer mich um einiges useabler als I/O. (wer auch immer sich diese fscking abbreviation fuer instant outlining ausgedacht hat gehoert sowieso geschlagen...)

re stephan: jetzt hab ich laenger ueberlegen muessen, ich nehm mal an HTML GUI toolkit bastelst du ;) publiziere halt, was rauskommt.
re gpoul: um meine wiki gedanken zu artikulieren, werd ich noch ein bissl zeit brauchen :)
