Ich wuerd gern, eine Ruby appl auf windows deployen. benoetigte module: openssl und rexml - wie schauts da aus? muss ich mir wirklich ein cygnus installen nur damit ich die modules dann native compilen kann? oder ganz generell: any hints wie das getan werden koennte?

Ich kann ja mal auf ruby-talk fragen, oder auf #ruby. Das ist auch eines meiner Probleme, ich haette gerne einen installer, der ueber das netz benoetigte module in windows nachinstalliert. Eventuell Andy fragen, der macht den Windows installer / Windows Ruby.

hmm, a binary openssl module kann man nit irgendwo bekommen?

jup, das rexml core ist, hab ich schon bemerkt ;) die pragprog distro hab ich auch, openssl fehlt mir - unter linux ist das alles so wesentlich einfacher. mah ;)
