"Random.org offers true random numbers to anyone on the internet. All numbers are tested statistically and the results available in real-time. Numbers can be obtained in two ways: via the CORBA interface and via HTTP."

I finally came around to watching "Self - The Video" today and if you haven't seen it yet, go, watch it now! For quite some times over the years I've wanted to play a bit with the "real Self". The only 9 days old release of Self 4.1.2 should work on Panther, so the chances are good :)

random.org must be one of the worst ideas ever. Trusting a third party to deliver random numbers over the Internet is just plain naive. Just look at the users page. There are even people using this for selecting employees for drug-screening!

Hehe, "worst idea ever" might be a bit radical, I guess "it depends" on what you wanna use the numbers for :)
