today i wanted to try something emacs'ish, when, to my sheer and utter embarrassment:$ emacs
bash: emacs: command not found
yikes! doing unix for ages now, and then: that. on one of my main machines, even. blushing in shame i run to aptitude for help:
$ aptitude install emacs
..
No candidate version found for emacs
..
well. then, i guess it should not be.
