AMQP
by earl, 6075 days ago
"AMQP is an Open Standard for Messaging Middleware."

A wire protocol along with defined server semantics for messaging (both publish/subscribe and store/forward). In development, seems to be mildly complex.

Backed by major banks, [create Cisco], [create Red Hat] and [create Novell], amongst others.
