zuallererst - nachdem allerseits (auch bei mir) ein wenig der unmut ueber die performance von strain.at waechst:

sorry, meine zustaendigkeiten erstrecken sich hier nur ueber den rechner selbst, bezgl connectivity kann ich fast nix machen.

dankenswerterweise wird aus XQuery mal kein reiner XML-dialekt. X-Hive/DB klingt nach fertigem XML-DBMS.
Who's Afraid of the CLImeine jugendsuende war ja, dass ich ja auch noch mit cut/tr/expr umgehen kann. und viel zu oft verwende ich noch komische cut/expr konstrukte anstatt einfach awk zu verwenden ;) aber trotzdem, letzterer artikel zeigt, warum man die bash einfach gernhaben muss ;)
