The artist formerly known as Audioscrobbler :)A service that tracks your music listening habits via plugins for popular players. Using one of those plugins, whenever you fully listen to a track, the track-data gets submitted to last.fm and contributes to a huge database of attention data. This data is mined (using techniques such as Collaborative Filtering) and last.fm provides services like personalized artist recommendations or displaying related tracks when you browse their database.
