Herr Rinner weisst in den comments zu gestrigem posting darauf hin, dass:

ein kurzer blick wiederum auf turnitin.com offenbart, dass das anscheinend eben genau die software ist, die bisher im UK schon massiv im einsatz war und dass die macher von turnitin wahrscheinlich auch die jetzt im UK eingesetzte software fuer das dept. of education (mit)produziert haben.
unter der annahme das der turnitin crawler brav ist, ist esa dann freie zone fuer plagiarists, blocke ich doch meinem entsinnen nach alle crawler bis auf ein paar auserwaehlte :) werd mal meine logs durchstoebern. durchaus interessant auch, btw, die research resources von turnitin.
