nic.at relaunched with a fresh design on 2005-12-21. once more a job well done by [create Datenkraft] and Yet Another Typo3 Site. i think, typo3 is silently taking over the ... well, something. sil, inode, flex, nic.at, ....Ars Technica: "However, with one quick change the Cell could become a great web server chip in short order. What sort of change? If IBM changed Cell's SPE hardware from SIMD floating-point to scalar integer, they'd have something that looks a whole lot like - and possibly even performs like - Sun's UltraSparc T1." - dept. cell-induced daydreaming :)
[create Ralf Lämmel], Joost Visser: Typed Combinators for Generic Traversal (2002) - "Lacking support for generic traversal, functional programming languages suffer from a scalability problem when applied to large-scale program transformation problems. As a solution, we introduce functional strategies: typeful generic functions that not only can be applied to terms of any type, but which also allow generic traversal into subterms. We show how strategies are modelled inside a functional language [..]"
