Joe Marshall - Hacking the Stack: "This paper describes a technique for implementing first-class continuations in languages that do not support stack inspection and manipulation. The technique involves modifying procedures (or methods) such that they are able to co-operatively participate in the creation and use of first-class continuations." ~Daniel Ehrenberg has written a short intro to Unicode that touches all the important points you should at least have heard about. Compared to plain 7-bit ASCII, quite a few things are to consider, such as normalization, collation, text boundaries and case conversion. |
